routine

It’s funny, because I believe in perspective and expansion and always challenging our minds and ourselves with new things, but man, sometimes, routine is just necessary.

For efficiency. For some kind of bedrock.

For at least one stable thing in our lives.

I haven’t had it for months now and it’s taking its toll. Constantly shifting attention, day to day, hour to hour, minute to minute, with no touchstone, is maddening. Quite literally.
