I’ve given myself until sometime in November to finish this book, but these middle scenes that I’m working on now?
They seem so far from complete, like the gasoline scene in The Conflagration of Boor and Aghast that I can’t seem to bear to rewrite, even though it desperately needs it and I know exactly what I want out of it.
It just seems like so much.
And so much is what I’m trying to avoid right now.
I would like to be done, but as it is said, because we have no other options…
The only way out is through.
